Joyce Ilene Lynch, 60, of Olney, died at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, April 15, 2007, at her residence.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Jim McKinney officiating. Burial will be in Crest Haven Memorial Garden in rural Claremont.
Mrs. Lynch was born May 27, 1946, at Jackson Hospital in Olney, the daughter of Herschel Maurice and Leone Vila (Wade) Michels. She married Robin J. Lynch on January 28, 1968, at Congregational Christian Church in Olney. He survives.
She was a wife, homemaker, mother, grandmother and an inspiration to everyone. Her legacy to this world is her simple and innocent vision. She loved to care for flowers and plants.
Mrs. Lynch is survived by her husband, Robin J. Lynch, of Olney; mother, Leone Michels, of Olney; stepmother, Norma Grimes, of Grayville; son, Wesley J. Lynch and his wife, Charlene, of West Salem; daughter, Holly Leigh Lewis and her husband, Willie, of Chauncey; sisters, Shelby Runyon and her husband, Don, of Olney, and Barbara Ahlfield and her husband, Johnny, of Columbus, Ga.; twin sister, Arlene Morgan and her husband, John, of Olney; brother, Dennis Michels and his wife, Linda, of Olney; stepsister, Diana Compton and her husband, Jeff, of Grayville; stepbrother, Jeff Michels, of Anderson, S.C.; and grandchildren, Levi Joseph Lynch, Samuel Lawson Lynch, Krystalyne Jean Lynch and William Joseph Lewis.
She was preceded in death by her father.
