Born in Tattnall County, she was a daughter of the late John E. and Luna Warnock Rooks and had lived in the Tiger area since 1976.
She was the manager of Lakeside Restaurant at Tallulah Falls.
The funeral was Saturday, July 17, at 3 p.m. at the chapel of Whitlock Mortuary with the Rev. Oscar Anderson officiating. Burial was in Stephens Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Eddie Hallford, Bob Ketterman, Randy Thomas, Charles Rooks, Paul Adair and Dewey Garland.
