The services were conducted by Reginald Beaver, minister of the Groesbeck Church of Christ. burial was in the LaSalle cemetery with the Riddle Funeral Home of Mexia in charge of arrangements. Grandsons served as pallbearers.
Mrs. Lauderdale was born at Linden in Cass county on July 14, 1870 and had lived in Limestone county for the past 68 years. She was a member of the LaSalle Church of Christ.
Deceased was preceded in death by her husband, E. J. Lauderdale, December 10, 1934.
Surviving are five sones, Horace and A. T. (Auby) Lauderdale, Groesbeck; Clayton Lauderdale, Grand Prairie; Clifton Lauderdale, Huntsville, and Doyle Lauderdale, Galena Park, and three daughters, Mrs. Maude Clark, Fort Worth; Mrs. Bessie McBay, Houston, and Mrs. Elna Rand, Groesbeck.
Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Maude Handson, Stamford, and Mrs. Latt Lunday, Mineral Wells.
