Myra Kaye Buchanan, known affectionately as Myrr, age 65 of Clarksville, passed away on Saturday June 16, 2018 at Clarksville Nursing and Rehabilitation.
She was born in Haleyville, AL, the daughter of the late Roy Buchanan and Doris Pierce Buchanan of Warrior AL. Myra had worked during her career in quality control positions, most recently with Dell Computer in Nashville and Mercedes Benz in Alabama. Although she had no children of her own she was loving and generous to her nieces and nephews and her entire family.
In addition to her Mother she is survived by sisters Rhonda Sawyer (Derrick) of Clarksville and Linda Centers of Hayden, AL. Myra is also survived by nieces and nephews SaVille Morgan (Michael); Derrick “Deke” Sawyer II; Chuck Centers; and Nathan Tucker; as well as several great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her Father she is preceded in death by a sister Daile Tucker. The family will celebrate Myra’s life with private remembrances.
