Linda Buchanan Centers
26 AUGUST, 1951 – 22 SEPTEMBER, 2022

Linda B. Centers, age 71, of Warrior, Alabama passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022. Linda was born August 26, 1951.
Linda Buchanan Centers, also known as Bobby, or as her mother called her Bob, was the second born child of Roy and Doris Buchanan. She was born in Winston county in the small town of Haleyville. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Daile Tucker and Myra Buchanan and her mother, Doris Buchanan. She leaves behind her son, Chuck Centers, his wife, Karla Centers, and three grandchildren, Jacob, Abby, and Colton. Also are her sister, Rhonda Sawyer, ex husband, Charlie Centers, her honorary son, Nicholas Centers, and her best friend and soul sister, Wanda Duke. The list doesn't stop there Linda loved all of her family from her cousins who she stayed in group chats with, to all her nieces and nephews who she would follow on Facebook and so many more friends. She never met a stranger and loved everyone. When she was younger, she was very active in the community and her church, Smokerise Baptist. As she aged her family was her only concern and since 2020 watching Michael Jones every Sunday morning. Besides watching In the Kitchen with Dave, this was her favorite show to watch. Her desire was that her family knew Jesus and love each other. Today she is not in pain anymore, she isn't bound to bed, she isn't restricted by her sight. Today because of her faith she is standing on the mountain, today she is with Jesus. If she was here she would say don't cry for me, I'm with Jesus.

A visitation for Linda will be held Sunday, September 25, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel, 2029 Decatur Highway, Gardendale, AL 35071, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.

Linda will be laid to rest in Oakwood Memorial Gardens, 2100 Moncrief Road, Gardendale, AL 35071-2374.
