A lifelong Streator resident, Frank J. Biros, 57, of 1507 S. Illinois St., succumbed at 3:15 a.m. today in Heritage Manor.
He was born December 11, 1916 in Streator, a son of John and Mary (Krull) Biros. He married Ida (Lynch) Snyder on May 28, 1955 in St. Stephen's Church.
She survives with a son: Gerald Biros; a step-son: Lloyd Snyder, both of Streator; two grandchildren; and a sister: Margaret (Frank) Zeambesky of Streator.
Preceding him in death was his first wife, the former Anna Marie Novak; a daughter; his parents; and six sisters.
He was last employed at Anthony Company. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Army. He had received a purple heart.
