Parker - Reedy Funeral Home Rev. Bill Fox, 97, of West Frankfort, passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2018 in the St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon, IL.. He was born July 21, 1921 in West Frankfort to Uel and Della Mae (Boatright) Fox. He married Mary V. Fox and she preceded him in death. Survivors include 2 daughters, Jane Fox-Leininger and husband, Timothy of O’Fallon, IL. and Kathy Owens of Anderson, IN.; son, William Fox of Fairview Heights, IL.; grandchildren, Craig Owens, Nickolas Fox, Damien Brendel and Jessica Khailo 7 great grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his Parents; wife, Mary and many brothers and sisters. Rev. Fox served in the United States Air Force during W.W. II. He was a Southern Baptist Minister for many years serving at Lake View Baptist Church in Fairview Heights, IL. and Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Christopher. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September, 28, 2018 in the First Baptist Church in West Frankfort with Brother Mike Cash officiating. Burial will be in the Tower Heights Cemetery in West Frankfort with military rites by the American Legion Post 1961 of Orient, VFW Post 5764 of West Frankfort, Zeigler Post 177 and the Funeral Honors Team of Marion. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Parker - Reedy Funeral Home in West Frankfort and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the church.
