Marjorie P. "Midge" Payne

Marjorie Pearl "Midge" Vosler Payne, 80, of Stuart, FL, formerly of Baldwinsville, passed away Thursday, September 18. She was born in Lyndonville, NY, and graduated from Livonia Central School in 1947. Midge attended Genesee Wesleyan College in Lima, NY, and Miss MaCarthy's Business School in Rochester. She was a member of Guild Fashionata Modeling Agency and did a variety of television modeling, as well as many commercials for magazines. After retiring and moving to Florida, she was asked to model for several fashion stores in south Florida.
Midge was predeceased by her youngest son, Dale, in November 2004 and by her brother, Forrest Vosler, in 1992. He was a Congressional Medal of Honor recipient for action in the U.S. Air Corps and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery.
Survivors: her husband of over 55 years, James Payne of Stuart, FL; two sons, James R. (Michele) Payne of Syracuse; Mitchell Forest (Judi) Payne of Warners; grandchildren, Donovan, Jesse, and Jaron Payne; daughter-in-law, Deborah; sister, Arvilla Credit of Penfield, NY, and Boynton Beach, FL; and her brother, Cleon Vosler of Fayetteville, WV, and Cedar Pointe, Stuart, FL.
