Terry Ellison, 70, of Olney, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN. Terry was born on August 8, 1948 in Olney, IL, the son of Earkles and Virginia (Bemont) Ellison. He married Helen (Plebanek) on May 12, 1988 at Antioch Church in Olney. She survives him.
Terry was a talented musician and songwriter. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, gardening, mushroom hunting, traveling, and he loved animals. He had a contagious smile and could make you laugh.
Terry is survived by his wife, Helen Ellison of Olney; mother, Virginia Ellison of Olney; brothers, Bill Ellison and wife Jackie of Olney, and Jay Ellison and wife Cindy of St. Elmo; sister, Ann Shuck and husband, Rick,of Olney; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, brother, Robert G. Ellison, sister-in-law, Jan Ellison, several aunts, uncles, and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 9c on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Olney, with burial following in Crest Haven Memorial Park.
Full Military Rites will be performed at the graveside.
