Eark C. Ellison, 67, Rt 3, Olney, died at 12:50 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, 1985, in Richland Memorial Hospital. Services were held Saturday in Summers Funeral Home with Rev. Cecil Works presiding. Full military rites at graveside by the Olney Veterans Associations.
Mr. Ellison was born Feb. 28, 1917, in Lafollette, Tenn., the son of Gabe and Louise (Savage) Ellison. He married Virginia Bemont July 14, 1941, in Olney and she survives. He was employed by Roadmaster and was a member of the American Legion and the Eagles.
Other survivors include four sons, Bill, Terry and Jay of Olney, Bob of Bridgeport; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Melody Ann) Shuck of Olney; a brother, Harold Gene of Sanora, Texas; a sister, Marie Thomas of Tampa, Fla.; eight grandchildren; a great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his paretnts, three sisters and two brothers.
