Harold George Yancey, age 86, died Monday, February 25, 2019, at his residence in Rienzi. He was born October 5, 1932, in Prentiss County to Clyde H. Yancey and Mary S. Yancey.
He was a car mechanic for Davidson Chevrolet and an employee for the Tombigbee Waterway. Harold enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, February 28, 2019, at the Booneville Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Rienzi Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Frankie Fay Kelton Yancey of Rienzi; two sons, Gary Yancey and Michel Yance, both of Rienzi; two sisters, Evelyn Thompson of Union Grove, WI and Sarah Eaton (Jimmy) of Rienzi; two brother, Gerald Yancey (Maxine) and Johnnie Richardson (Annette), both of Rienzi; and one grandchild, Valerie Hicks of Adamsville, TN.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Lois Reed, Willard Richardson, and Nell McCoy; and four brothers, Charles Yancey, Raymond Yancey, Jim Yancey and Joe Yancey.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 27, 2019, from 5 p.m. til’ 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
