Mr. Yancey died Friday, June 24, 2011, at his residence. Born June 26, 1941, he was an outboard motor mechanic. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by one son, Jeff Yancey; his parents, Clyde and Mary Stanford Yancey; two brothers, Bill Yancey and Joe Yancey; one sister, Lois Reed; and one step daughter, Betty Velmere.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Wilkey; one daughter, Kim Foster of Kenosha, Wis.; one step daughter, Rhonda Etzelmueller of Kenosha, Wis.; two sons, Bryan Yancey of Rienzi, and Chad Yancey of Kenosha, Wis.; one step son, David Minor of Kenosha, Wis.; four sisters, Nell McCoy of Shannon, Sarah Eaton (Jimmy) of Rienzi, Evelyn Thompson (Sarge) of Union Grove, Wis., and Willard Richardson of Rienzi; three brothers, Harold Yancey (Frankie), Raymond Yancey (Juanita), and Gerald Yancey (Maxine), all of Rienzi; 18 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
