Christian Gossard Deceased
Aged Civil War Veteran expired in Conemaugh Twp. on Saturday. Christian Gossard a Civil War Veteran died at his home in Conemaugh Twp., on Saturday night. Mr. Gossard was age eighty seven. Mr. Gossard became ill last week with disease incident to old age. He was born in this twp. and was united in marriage to Miss Harriet Yeager many years ago. The latter dying of promine poisoning last fall. Christian Gossard is survived by five sons. Samuel and Logon are married and living in Conemaugh Twp. Joseph, James, William at home. The funeral will take place at one o'clock p.m. tomorrow afternoon. Elder Abraham Fyock of the Church of Brethern will conduct the obsequies and interment will be made in Locust Grove Cemetery on Giffin Hill.
