Lawrence R. Gauthier, 67, of Route 3, Kewaunee, died Wednesday, June 11 at St. Mary's hospital, Kewaunee. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers. The Rev. Paul Schumacher will officiate and burial will be in Knollwood Memorial Gardens where joint military graveside services will be conducted by V.F.W. Post 1248 and American Legion Post 165. Mr. Gauthier was born Aug. 30, 1912, at Two Rivers, son of the late Richard and Ella Oestrich Gauthier. He served in the European Theater in World war II. He married Letty Hansen June 19, 1948, at Two Rivers. Mr. Gauthier retired from Mirro Aluminum Company 2 1/2 years ago. Survivors include his wife, Letty, three sons, Gerald of Oak Harbor, Wash., Alan of Merrill, and Wayne of Route 1, Kewaunee; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Marilyn) Krummel of Mishicot; and Mrs. Tom (Lou Ann) Kudick of Route 1, Kewaunee; two brothers, Ben of Two Rivers, and Ivan of Mishicot; a sister, Mrs Ervin Marten of Denver, Colo., and 14 grandchildren. A grandchild preceded him in death. Friends may call and Klein and Stangl Inc., Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Friday.
