Services for Anna B. West, 80, Rt. 4, Logansport, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. James Lutheran Church. Mrs. West died at 10 p.m. Friday in her residence. Born Nov. 12, 1915, in Washington Township, Carroll County, she was the daughter of Schuyler C. and Ella Jane McKinney Foster. On Juno 29, 1949, she was married In Logansport to Paul G. West, who proceeded in death Jan. 30, 1991. She retired from Essex Wire in 1978, She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Lutheran Women's Missionary League and American Legion Auxiliary, and she was active in the Cass County Kidney Patient Fund and Meals on Wheels.
Surviving are five nieces, Mary Ellen Martin, Barbara Clem and Beverly Tatman, all of Logansport, Shirley McCarty, Michigan City, and Jane Farley, Delaware; nine nephews, Luther Cree, Donald Quinn, Larry Foster, James Foster and Elmer Foster, all of Logansport, Lee Cree, Evansville, Carl Watson, Monticello, Robert Foster, Florida, and Frank Foster, Argos; one cousin, Cecil Foster, Fort Dodge, Iowa; two sisters-in-law, Maxine Foster and Marie Foster, both of Logansport; and a number of grandnieces and grandnephews. Three brothers and six sisters preceded in death.
Officiating at the services will be Pastor A. David Seller. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery, Deer Creek. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Kroeger Funeral Home and one hour before services Wednesday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to St. James Lutheran Church or the Case County Kidney Patient Fund.
