George Edward Foster, 58, of 1236 College St., died suddenly at 6:25 p.m. Saturday shortly after having been taken to Memorial Hospital. An employe of the Cass County Highway Department, he was a member of the North Third St. United Methodist Church. Born in Washington township, Carroll County, March 29, 1910, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Schuyler Foster. His marriage in this city on June 9,1934, was to Eva Raisor, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Larry, 311 Wheatland Ave.; two brothers, Elmer Foster, 112 Beal St., and Leonard Foster, 427 Barlett St.; five sisters, Mrs. Nina Millman, Michigan City; Mrs. Ann West, Rural Route Logansport; Mrs. Frona Quinn, Rt. 3, Delphi; Mrs. Norma Watson and Mrs. Arelda Cree, both of Burrows.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at Fisher Funeral Home. Rites are pending.
