Mrs. Frank O. Karsteadt(sic), 62, of Rt. 1, Kiel, died Wednesay morning at home following an illness of several years.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church, Louis Corners, the Rev. Adalbert Schultz officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The former Amanda Rabe was born March 29, 1901, in the Town of Schleswig, daughter of the late August and Caroline Schnuell Rabe. She attended Schleswig and Eaton
district schools. She was married to Frank Karsteadt of the Town of Schleswig Nov. 26, 1919, at Zion Lutheran Church parsonage, Louis Corners. They operated a farm in the Town of Meeme until retiring three years ago when they constructed a new home on the farm and continued living there. She was a member of Zion Church.

Surviving are her husband; five sons, Elmer and Roger Karsteadt of Sheboygan, Wilbert and Ralph Karsteadt of Kiel and Larry Karsteadt at home; eight daughters,
Mrs. Herbert Scharenbrock, Mrs. William Mueller, Mrs. William Zimmermann and Mrs. Ralph Hickmann of Kiel, Mrs. Seraphino Marchiando and Mrs. Norbert Herbst of Sheboygan and Mrs. Victor Schanke and Mrs. Glenroy Schmitz of New Holstein; six brothers, Alvin, Alfon, Elmer and Frederick Rabe of Kiel, Reuben Rabe of New Holstein and Arno Rabe of Plymouth; three sisters, Mrs. Michal Lechler, Mrs. Aldon Fluhr and Mrs. Francis Wagner of Kiel; and 20 grandchildren.
