George M. Buerster, 67, Wendelin, died 4 a.m. Saturday, July 19, 1986, in Richland Memorial Hospital.

Services will be in Holy Cross Catholic Church in Wendelin, with the Rev. Father Leo Rinehart presiding. Visitation will be in Summers Funeral Home, with the Holy Rosary. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Mr. Buerster was born Jan. 14, 1919, in Clay County, the son of Antone and Veronica (Klingler) Buerster. He married Georgianna Weber June 2, 1948, in Wendelin.

He was a farmer and a member of the Holy Cross Catholic Church in Wendelin; the Olney Elks, the Olney Moose Lodge, the V.F.W. Post and the American Legion in Olney.

He was also a World War II veteran.

Survivors include his wife Georgianna; two sons, Joseph and Dan Buerster both of Noble; two daughters, Diana Herdes, Noble, Brenda Ulm, Patoka; a brother, Lowell Buerster, Noble; two sisters, Berneatha Kesler, Olney; Bernice Stark, Newton; grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three grandchildren.
