Edna Ball Reaves, went to be with the Lord on August 22, 2019. Born Edna Ruth Campbell on June 19, 1924 in Springfield, MO, She was the 8th of 10 children.

Edna moved to Birmingham at the age of 2, grew up in ACIPCO and North Highlands. She was a graduate of Phillips High School and retired from Alagasco. She was a member of Huffman United Methodist Church.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents: Homer and Edith Williams Campbell, husbands; Thomas Ball and John Reaves; brothers; Clifford, Vernon, Max, Paul, and Gene Campbell; sisters Mary Shoemaker, Lois Camp, Thelma Lefoy and Helen Campbell. She is survived by nieces and nephews that loved her dearly.

Edna lived in Sherwood Forest in Roebuck from 1959-2013. She volunteered at Keytona and other facilities for many years. Her 95 years were spent caring for and giving to others. She will be greatly missed!

Visitation will be Monday from 1pm until 2pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with a chapel service following. (The Birmingham News on Aug. 25, 2019)
