Park Hills- Donald Baker, 61, of Park Hills passed away Oct. 23, 2001, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. He was born June 28, 1940, in Norris City, Illinois, son of the late Harold and Mellicent (Sanders) Baker. Also preceded by sister Rebecca Bassett.
He is survived by his wife Marie (Studinski) Baker of Park Hills; son, Don Baker of Park Hills; daughters: Dawn (Mrs. Michael) Copeland of Park Hills; Donyelle (Mrs. Robert) Barnett of Desloge; Donna Erland of Chicago; nine grandchildren; five brothers: Glynn Baker of Illinois; Ray Baker of Illinois; Ronald Baker of Bonne Terre; Terry Baker of Illinois; Bryan Baker of Illinois; seven sisters: Peggy Sanders of Bonne Terre; Mary Flowers of Bonne Terre; Lynda Cox of Illinois; Glynda Rash of Illinois; Judy Goodson of Illinois; Kathy McGill of Louisiana; Gidget Connor of Illinois.
Visitation will be Thursday at 6 p.m. at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Leadwood. Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel in Leadwood with Rev. Jim Latham officiating. Burial in Adams Cemetery, Frankclay.
