NORRIS CITY, ILL.- Mellicent Bernice Baker, 74, died Thursday afternoon at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. Surviving are seven daughters, Peggy Sanders and Kathy McGill, both of Bonne Terre, Mo., Mary Flowers of Manteno, Lynda Cox of Ridgeway, Glynda Rash of Tucson, Az., and Judith Goodson and Mellicent Conner of Norris City; six sons, Donald and Ronald, both of Bonne Terre, Terry of Evansville, Glynn of Braceville, Christopher Bryan of Norris City, and Harold William of Elwood; two sisters, Gladys Griffith and Lucille Harris, both of Norris City; three brothers, Carl Sanders of Norris City, Bobby Lee Sanders of Fairfield, and Laymond Harold Sanders of Omaha; 32 grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. Her husband, Harold William, died in 1991. Services will be held at 10 A.M. Saturday at Campbell Funeral Home Norris City Chapel, with burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 P.M. today at the funeral home.
