November 9, 1922 - February 29, 2016 Lee (Jack) Childers, age 93, of Wide Creek, KY passed away on Monday, Feb. 29, 2016 at his residence in Wide Creek, KY. He was born Nov. 9, 1922 in Breathitt County and was the son of the late Zephern and Melva (Gabbard) Childers. He was preceded in death also by three sisters: Ethel Olema King, Lunia Kidd and Tiny Deaton. Four brothers: Arch Childers, Eschol Childers, Tommy Childers and Sam Childers. He is survived by three brothers: Oscar (Diane) Childers of Irvine, KY. Otto Childers of Beattyville, KY and Porter Childers of Emily City, MI. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. the Wide Creek Community Church, Wide Creek, KY with Mike Spencer officiating. Burial in the Gabbard Cemetery at Wide Creek, KY
