Herbert Blalock, 64, of Tioga died at 6:20 a.m. today in an Alexandria hospital. He was a native of Tyler Texas.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Addie W. Blalock of Tioga; one son, Jimmy Blalock of Tioga; four daughters, Mrs. Abby Franklin, Mrs. Patricia Bordelon, Mrs. Ruby Ann Bordelon and Mrs. Mary J. Viviano of Alexandria; one brother, Alton Blalock of Tyler, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Olie Granberry of Tyler, Texas, Mrs. Myrtle Lee Dozier of Longview, Texas and Mrs. Omie Blalock of Dallas, Texas and 17 grandchildren.
The body will be at Hixson Bros. Funeral Home, Alexandria, after 10 a.m. Saturday. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in Hixson Bros. chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
