She was a member of Coal Port Holiness Church and enjoyed going to Church, Gardening, and time with family and friends, especially the grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, 4 brothers: James Lewis, Danny Lewis, Larry Lewis, and Donnie Lewis; and 2 sisters: Louise Lewis and Nancy Carol Lewis preceded her in death.
She is survived by her loving husband: Rev. Roe Gibson of Corbin; a daughter: Jackie Lewis and husband David of Corbin; 3 grandchildren: David Taylor Lewis, Jaylyn Lewis, and Brayden Lewis; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Betty Gibson will be conducted in the East London Pentecostal Church on Monday, December 9, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Jerry Holland, Rev. McKinley Holland, and Rev. Virgil Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in the A R Dyche Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends may call at the East London Pentecostal Church Sunday Evening from 6 to 9 P.M., and Monday from 10 A.M. to the funeral hour at 1.
