Ann was the daughter of Theodore and Kathryn Kobielka Sedlovsky, and the wife of Michael Kulick. Fol;lowing high school Ann completed training at the Griffith School of Beauty Culture and worked as a beautican at Eleanors Beauty Shop in New Castle. She belonged to the Russian Orthodox Church in Ellwood City.
