Leslie Coborn, 81, of 2808 7th Ave., Rock Island, died at 4:42 p.m. Sunday at Moline Lutheran Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Knox-Larson Funeral home, Rock Island. The Rev. Edward Kuriscak of Edgewood Baptist Church, will officiate. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
Mr. Coborn was born Jan. 16, 1899 near Cable, Ill., the son of Willis and Hattie Tomlinson Coborn.
He married Blanche Granger March 16, 1923, in Viola. She died Feb. 3, 1952. He later married Alma Rehmel Spahnie July 30, 1955 in Viola. She died Dec. 3, 1963. He married Ethel Klawonn in February 1971.
He was employed at Farmall Works, Rock Island for 38 years.
He was a member of the Edgewood Baptist church, Rock Island, the Knights of Pythias, Milan, and the Senior Citizens Club.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Keith H., Rock Island, and the Rev. Gerald D., Dallas, Tex.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Orie Bealer and Mrs. Pearl Johnson, both of Milan. He also was preceded in death by a son, a grandchild and a brother.
