Last Rites Today For G.B. Jennings

Private funeral services were held at White's funeral home this afternoon for George B. Jennings, aged resident of this city, who died Monday at the home of his son, G.L. Jennings. The Rev. Sam P. Gott, pastor of the Baptist church, officiated. Burial was in the Hamby cemetery. Pall bearers were H. Grabest, J.W. Denton, J. Esler, F.C. Hardy, C.W. Sturgeon and H.H. Osmer.

1911 Canadian census shows George, his wife Vesta, and 15 yr. old daughter living in Alberta, Canada
1920 census shows George living in Seattle, WA and claiming to be a widower. However, the same census shows Vesta also living in Seattle, claiming to be married but living with son James and 3 of her daughter Ida's children.
1930 census lists George still claiming to be a widower and living in Watsonville, CA with son Guy. The same census lists Vesta living as a widow in Seattle with son James.
1932 – George died in Watsonville
1949 – Vesta died in Watsonville

• William and Anna had a daughter, Eula G. Jennings born March 31, 1901 in Davis Co., Iowa
• Don't know when or where William died. He may have died young. On 1930 census, his wife was married to John Loeffler. No information on his daughter Eula after her listing on Iowa birth records.
