Buried in Grapeville, Texas (Tarrant County); cemetery unknown

Sherman may be buried at Minters Chapel Cemetery. According to his mother's obit, she was buried there when she died 3 years after Sherman passed away. It seems likely that since they were both buried in Grapeville, they would have been buried in the same cemetery.

Sherman was not married.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Sherman Jennings had been an employee of Southwestern Telegraph and Telephone Co. in Ft. Worth about a month where he worked at placing underground wires in Cleburne, TX. According to Sherman himself, he was handing a gun to a friend when the gun accidently discharged. Sherman suffered a serious gunshot wound from which he later died.

Sherman's permanent residence was with his mother and a sister in Ft. Worth. However, at the time of his death, he was renting a room at a home in Cleburne where he was working. It was said that, by his gentlemanly conduct, he made a favorable impression upon everyone with whom he had become acquainted.
