Like many of his brothers in the early 1900s, Jim Jennings lived for a time in the Pacific Northwest. The 1910 census shows him and his family living in Austin, OR and Jim was working as a teamster in a logging camp.

His 2nd wife is buried in Oregon. All their children are buried in Oregon with the exception of one who is buried in Washington. Children from his 3rd marriage are also buried in Oregon & Washington.

James was 52 yrs. old and Alice was 24. She had 2 sons from her 1st marriage to Jim Hooper.

Jim and Alice Jennings moved to Oregon where they had 2 children:
1. Perlie Jennings
2. Howard Jennings

Macon Co., NC Estate Records show that James' son John T. Jennings was the executor of his father's estate. Heirs were James'
8 living children: John T. Jennings, Rindy Gibson, J.E. Jennings, Robert Jennings, Macilla Evett, Beman Jennings, Hobart Jennings, and Howard Jennings. There is no mention of James' wife, Alice Potts Jennings.
