Luella M. Kuhn, 85, Victoria, died Tuesday, April 12, 2005, at Hays Medical Center.

She was born March 19, 1920, in Hays to Jacob P. and Amelia (Staab) Walters.

She married Emil A. Kuhn on Aug. 7, 1939, in Hays. He died Sept. 5, 2000. She was a nurse's aide at St. John's Rest Home, Victoria, for 19 years. She was a member of St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria.

Survivors include three sons, Neil Kuhn, Victoria, Jim Kuhn, Munjor, and Dave Kuhn, Russell; two daughters, Helene Staton, Russell, and Carol Kuhn, Hays; four brothers, Herb Walters, Hays, Frank Walters, Topeka, George Walters, Placentia, Calif., and Eddie Walters, Pevely, Mo. ; a sister, Alice Gerstner, Amarillo, Texas; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Clarence Walters, Ray Walters, Bill Walters and Elmer Walters, and a granddaughter, Jennifer Kuhn-Bishop.
