Marjorie C. Winter Ferguson, 89, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Peoria, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013.
Marge was born in Peoria, Ill., on May 18, 1923. She is the daughter of Lloyd and Pauline (Spaulding) Williams.
She graduated from Woodruff High School and continued college at Bradley.
Marge married Louis Winter Sr. in 1942. They were married 49 years. Louis passed in 1991 and she relocated to Mesa, Ariz. She met Ralph Ferguson in 1993 and they were married in July 1994. They were married for 18 years.
Marge worked as an executive secretary for Caterpillar Tractor Co. for over 30 years.
She was active in AMVETS Auxiliary and the American Legion.
Marge is survived by her daughter, Linda Ruyle of Chandler Ariz., and daughter-in-law Judy Ferguson; and sister Carol Schumm of Florida.
Marge was preceded in death by her son, Butch; son-in-law, Rusty; a sister, Betty Frankenstein; and brother, Lee Williams.
