Word was received here on Monday of the death on August 30 of Mrs. Lydia Griner of Portland, Oregon. Mrs. Griner was for many years a resident of Villisca before moving to the west coast. She is the sister-in-law of Mrs. Selma Wert and the last of the David Wert family. She was a life long member of the Christian Church. Burial was on the west coast beside her husband.
