MISS JOSEPHINE KUHL, 55, PASSES AWAY IN WEST
Messages received in the city yesterday told of the death last Saturday at Los Angels, California, of Miss Josephine Kuhl, aged 55 years, formerly a resident of Manitowoc, but who left here nearly twenty years ago to locate in the West. Funeral services were held at Los Angeles and the body is now enroute to this city for burial. The remains will arrive here on Sunday and be taken to the home of Joseph Kuhl, a brother at 1413 Clark St., from where burial will take place Monday morning at nine o'clock with interment at Calvary Cemetery.
The deceased was born in this city March 18, 1875 and spent most of her life here. She was employed at the O.Torrison Co. store here for a number of years. Three sisters,, Mrs. Mary Auermiller, city, Mrs. Ida McComas and Mrs. Frances Mitchell, Los Angeles, Calif., and five brothers, Michael Kuhl of Cottonwood Falls, Kan., and Joseph, August, Nicholas and John Kuhl, all of this city, survive.
