CURWENSVILLE - Stanley Paul Allison, 60, of 429 Chestnut St., Curwensville, was dead on arrival at the Clearfield Hospital Monday at 3:30 p.m.
He was retired Clearfield Cheese Company employe, a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Curwensville, a life member of the Rescue Hose and Ladder Company and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge of Clearfield.
Mr. Allison was born at Westover Dec. 28, 1914, a son of John and Amanda Viola (Kitchen) Allison.
He is survived by his wife, the former Elizabeth Mathews of Grampian; three sons and a daughter: Eugene, at home, Mrs. Patricia Starr of Curwensville, Dennis of Norfolk, Va., and Edward of Curwensville; and eight grandchildren.
These brothers and sisters also survive: Firmin and Clyde Allison of Curwensville; Mrs. Robert (Betty) Matthews, Grampian; Thomas Allison, Grampian R.D.; Mrs. Kenneth (Emma) Green, DuBois; Mrs. Wilbur (Maude) Rowles, Phoenix, Ariz.; and Clifford Blair Allison, Rochester, N.Y.
He also leaves a half brother, Robert Allison of Wichita, Kan, and a half sister, Mrs. Bonnie Moore of Philadelphia.
Mr. Allison was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, James, and a half-brother.
Services will be Thursday at 1:30 p.m. from the Russell H. Lininger Funeral Home with the Rev. John Hawkins officiating. Interment will be in Crown Crest Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 o'clock tonight until time of services Thursday.
