Hortensia Jaramillo Martin passed away peacefully surrounded by family Wednesday, June 11th.

Hortensia (Tencha) was born September 30, 1930 to Cresencio & Adelita Jaramillo in Florence, AZ.

Residing in Flagstaff her entire life, Tencha set the standard for perseverance and work ethic. Her dedication to family influenced many and she will be greatly missed. Her sense of humor and quick wit will never be forgotten.

Tencha is survived by her three children: Paula (John) Avila, Floyd (Margaret) Jackson and Mary Ann (Roger) Smith. She also raised two grandchildren: Jennifer (Norey) and Isom (Veronica). Tencha has 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.

She is also survived by her sisters: Pauline Harless, Diana (Ivan) Busch, Gloria (Pat) Gonzales, Linda (Gabriel) Argumedo & Cloriza (Fernando) Lomeli and brothers: John (Yolanda) & Dan Jaramillo.

She is preceded in death by her sister Viola Koury, brothers Manual, James and Victor and grand-daughter Laura Jackson.

A Celebration of Life will be held in September for family and friends.
