Alviera Perkins Bredemeyer, 69, of 716 S. Shelley St. died at 9:10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, 1993, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

Born June 2, 1924, in Milwaukee to Michael and Katherine Sobolik, she married Ben Perkins in 1962. He died in June 1979. She later married Harold F. Bredemeyer on Feb. 20, 1980, in Peoria. He survives. Also surviving are two sons, Frederick Shelby and Patrick M. Shelby, both of Peoria; two daughters, Catherine A. Johnson of Galesburg and Viola M. Nelson of Ankeny, Iowa; two brothers, Matthew and Thomas Sobolik, and two sisters, Ann Mahoney and Mary Stovich, all of Milwaukee; eight grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren. One son, Jimmy Shelby, one daughter, Mary Shelby, eight brothers and sisters, one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter preceded her in death.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Davison-Fulton Western Chapel in Peoria. The Rev. Mark Henninger will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before services at the chapel. Burial will be in Pottstown Cemetery in Pottstown.
