George B. Kerr, 82, RD 5, Waynesburg, Hargus Creek, died 3:45 PM Friday, Jan 20 in Greene County Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

He was born Dec. 5, 1895 in Bristoria. He was the son of the late Rufus and Mary Wright Kerr.

He was a mechanic for Waynesburg Motors prior to his retirement. He was a World War I veteran. He spent most of his life in the
Rogersville area. He was a member of the Claylick Church. He was married in November, 1919 to Gay Tustin who survives. Also
surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Harry (Lucille) Dunn, RD 5, Waynesburg, one grandson, George Howard, RD 5, Waynesburg; one great-grandson; one sister, Mrs. Urbana Headley, Wind Ridge and one brother, S. Lawrence Kerr, Khedive.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
