Zella K. Staggers, 81, of 244 First Ave., Waynesburg, died at 9:15 AM Friday, April 28, 1967, following an illness of three days.

She was born Oct. 23, 1885, in Jackson Township, a daughter of the late Rufus and Mary Jane Wright Kerr.

She was married June 15, 1910 to George W. Staggers, who died July 30, 1965.

Mrs. Staggers spent most of her life in Jackson Township and the past few years at Waynesburg, but has spent the past few weeks with her daughter, Gertrude, wife of Raymond Dukate.

She was a member of the Long Run Church of God.

Surviving in addition to her daughter is one son, Howard, of Waynesburg R. D. 2; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, John Kerr, of Sycamore, George, of Waynesburg, R. D. 5, Lawrence of Carmichaels and one sister, Mrs. Urbana Headley, of Graysville, R. D. 1.

Two brothers and two sisters are deceased.
