FROSTBURG — William F. Griffith, 80, of 24 Frost Avenue, died yesterday in the Martinsburg, W.V. VA Center.
Born in Frostburg, he was a son of the late William and Katherine (Hartig) Griffith.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Pearl (McKenzie) Griffith; seven. sons, George Griffith, Frostburg; Robert Griffith, Bedford, Ohio; Russell Griffith, Oakdale, Calif.; Bernard Griffith, Hidson, Ohio; Joe Dawn Griffith, and Clayton Griffith, both of Portsmouth, Va.; and Blaine Griffith, Marlboro, Md.; three daughters, Mrs. Verna Davis, Portsmouth, Va.; Mrs. Nancy Grant, Cumberland and Mrs. Jane Cumiskey, LaVale; three sisters, Mrs. Olive Duncan, Frostburg; Mrs. Iva Rogers, Kenrnore, Ohio and Mrs. Edna Walters, Mt. Savage; a brother, Donald Griffith, Frostburg; 25 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at the Hafer-Sowers Funeral Home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
