LUCY ELFRINK

Mrs. Lucy Elfrink, wife of Jacob J. Elfrink of Leopold, died Thursday at the home of a daughter in Overland. The body was brought to Leopold, Friday and Rosary was recited there Friday night. Funeral services were held Saturday, at St. John's Catholic Church, conducted by Rev. Henry Weissman. Burial was in the church cemetery with Baker services. Mrs. Elfrink, 66 years old, was born and reared in this county. She was married to Jacob J. Elfrink, who survives; also, three sons: Martin and Leonard of Leopold and Joseph of Overland; seven daughters, Mrs. Martha Nenninger of Leopold, Mrs. Clara Terbrock, Mrs. Josephine Bax, Mrs. Adele Holzum, and Mrs. Ethel Fischer, all of Overland, Mrs. Rosina Eldracher of Laflin, Mrs. Elsie Jansen of Olivette; 35 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

NOTE: Terbrock is spelled Debrock in her father's obit. DeBrock or Debrock is the most common useage and is most likely correct. However, there is a family of Terbrock's in the area: Fred, Lida & Mary Terbrock are also buried in this cemetery. (I'm not a family member, so this is all the information I have.)

Note: Death Certificate #43548
Father: Martin Vandeven
Mother: Mary Hinkelbein
Cause of Death: Hypertension, heart disease, coronary occulsion.
