Kenneth R. Sherry of Portville
passed away Monday, November 14, 2016 at Erie County Medical Center.

Born May 23, 1936, in Mayport, PA, he was the son of the late Lewis D. and Amy B. Himes Sherry formerly of Duke Center and Bradford, PA.

He is survived by his wife Patricia A. (nee Costanzo) Sherry of Portville and daughter Lynn Sherry (Hope Hodges) of Rowlett, TX.

He was a 1954 graduate of Otto High School in Duke Center, PA. He served as an aircraft electrician in the US Air Force from 1954-1958 and was a retired electrician and member of IBEW Local 106. He was also a lifetime member of the NRA.

A perfectionist at everything he pursued, Ken enjoyed a number of hobbies over the years. Among them were building and flying model airplanes, wood working, gardening, fishing, hunting, hiking, harmonica playing, photography, and astronomy. He loved books and studied many subjects. He was a jack of all trades and a master of many.

Also surviving are five siblings, Evelyn (Bob) Hawkins of Hoschton, GA;
Franklyn (Pat) Sherry of Cuba, NY;
Roger Sherry of Agawam, MA;
Daniel (Pat) Sherry of Logan, UT;
Paul Sherry of St. Marys, PA; numerous nieces and nephews.

At his request, there will be no memorial service.
