Beatrice M. Freund, 75, died Thursday, April 15, 2004, at Manor Care Nursing Home.
She was born a daughter of Harley and Edith Revolta Austin on June 30, 1928, in Fond du Lac.
Beatrice married LeRoy Leiflander, who preceded her in death, and then married Arthur Titel, who also preceded her in death. She later married Leander Freund and he preceded her in death.
Beatrice was a nurse’s aide at Rolling Meadows Nursing Home and a dietary aide at Arndt Street Lutheran Home and Care Center East. Then she worked as a nurse’s aide in private home care.
She is survived by five children, Jeffrey (Pat) Austin of Ripon, Beverly Jean (William) Ebling of Fond du Lac, James Title of Fond du Lac; Jodie Titel of North “Fond du Lac and Joel Titel of North Fond du Lac; three stepchildren, Nancy (Harry) Sauerbrei of Markesan, Bonnie (Fred) Brown of Campbellsport, Randall (Sue) Freund of Fond du Lac; seven grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Marie (Henry) Miller of Rosendale; three brothers, John (Joyce) Austin of Viroqua, Harley (Judith) Austin of Neshkoro and Monte (Margaret) Austin of Newnan, Ga.; a sister-in-law, Viona Austin of Waupaca; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Kenneth Austin and William Austin; sister, Lois (Quinn) Hawkins.
Services: A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. on Monday April 19, 2004, at Mach Funeral Chapel, 31 E. Division Street, Fond du Lac, with Deacon Larry Hughes officiating. Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation: The family will greet friends and relatives from 2 p.m. until the time of service on Monday at Mach Funeral Chapel.
