HARLEY F. AUSTIN

Harley F. Austin, 74, of Neshkoro, passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 2, 2006, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton.

He was born on Jan. 4, 1932, in Fond du Lac, the son of Harley H. and Edith Rivolta Austin.

On July 11, 1992, he married Judith M. (Rahn) Dexter at Wautoma.

Harley served his country in the United States Air Force as an aircraft electrician for 21 years until his retirement in 1971.

He resided in Fond du Lac before moving to Neshkoro in 1983. He enjoyed working on anything mechanical, especially cars. Belle was his canine companion.

Surviving are his wife, Judith M. “Judy” Austin of Neshkoro; two children, Marcia Ann Josker of Fond du Lac and Kenneth (Karen) Austin of San Antonio, Texas; four stepchildren, Sherri (Jim) Lock of Wautoma, Ken Dexter of Oshkosh, Denise (Shane) Stahl of Wautoma and Andy(Shelly) Dexter of New London; his grandchildren, Angela Roy, Rebecca and Matt Buckarma, Margaret Uhlig, Robin Eastman, Ryan Josker, Kayla Josker, Joshua Austin, Heather Austin, Jacob Austin, Michael Lock, Joseph Lock, Sara Lock, Brooke Heid, Tyler Heid, Noah Dexter and Haven Dexter, 11 great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Dominic, Alexis, Josiah, Shannon, Miranda, Noah, Dustin, Mya, Lita and Dane; his former wife, Ruth Austin of Fond du Lac; two brothers, John (Joyce) Austin of Reedstown and Monte (Margaret) Austin of Newnan, Ga; one sister, Marie (Henry) Miller of Rosendale; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four children, Dale, Diane, Keith and a child in infancy; two great-grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters.

Services: Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2006, at Likeness Funeral Home, Wautoma, with the Rev. Dale R. Hanaman officiating. Full military honors will follow.

Visitation: Relatives and friends may greet the family from 1 p.m. until the time of service on Wednesday, March 29 at the funeral home. Leikness Funeral Home, Wautoma, is serving the family.
