ELIZA A. TUDMAN
KNOXBORO -- Mrs. Eliza A. Tudman died Nov. 21, 1952 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edward T. Wilson, East Hill, after a short illness.
She was born June 19, 1874 in Rome, daughter of Leonard and Margaret Duff Hale. On June 30, 1892, she was married to Alfred E. Tudman of Lowell in Spencer Settlement. Her husband died March 31, 1935.
The couple came to Knoxboro in 1922.
Mrs. Tudman was a member of the Knoxboro Methodist Church and taught a Sunday School class there for several years. She was a former member of Knoxboro Grange 758 and of the Pomona and State Granges.
Surviving are three daughter, Mrs. Ward B. Wilgus, Verona; Mrs. Edward T. Wilson, Knoxboro and Mrs. D. Ralph Connors, Knoxboro; two sons, Myron E. Tudman, Vernon and Edward L. Tudman, Knoxboro; 11 grandchildren; three brothers, Thomas Hale, Port Leyden, William Hale, Rome, and Fred Hale, Massachusetts; four sisters, Mrs. George J. Kline, Mrs. Margaret Blair and Mrs. Arlo G. Thayer, all of Rome and Mrs. Arthur Walls, Sidney, and nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be form Mrs. Wilson's home at 2 today. The Rev. Alden Smith, pastor of the Knoxboro Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Lowell Cemetery.
