WINONA, Miss.-Tillman Andrew Parker, 78, died Sunday at Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at New Hope Methodist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Oliver Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Parker was a retired farmer. He was a World War I veteran, a member of American Legion and a Methodist.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Allie Blaylock Parker; four daughters, Mrs. Lela Mae Austin, Mrs. Helen Daves and Mrs. Glady Allison all of Winona and Mrs. Estelle Blackwelder of Burwick, La.; two sons, Leon Parker and Denmond Parker both of Winona; six sisters, Mrs. Nobia Adams of Meridian, Mrs. Annie Belle Bailey of Duck Hill, Mrs. Susie Shirley of Vaiden, Mrs. Odell Thompson of Hattiesburg, Miss Blanche Parker of Winona and Mrs. Ruby Whisenant of Jackson; two brothers, John Parker of Winona and W. W. Parker Jr. of Duck Hill; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
