Funeral services for Mrs. Allie Ella Blaylock Parker, 88, of Winona were held at the New Hope Methodist Church at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, with Tom Davis officiating assisted by Dr. Jerry Mixon and Rev. Billy Whisenant. She died Friday, Dec. 28, 1984, at the Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital, following a brief illness and was buried in the New Hope Cemetery.
A native of Montgomery Mrs. Parker was married to Tillman A. Parker. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Lela Mae Austin, Mrs. Helen Daves and Mrs. Gladys Ellison, all of Winona, two sons, Leon Parker and Denman Parker, both of Winona; one sister, Mrs. Hontas Rogers of Winona, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was a member of the New Hope Methodist Church.
Pallbearers were David Daves, Mike Parker, Hayes Chandler, R. C. Rogers, Sonny Crouch and Gary Parker. Oliver Funeral Home was in charge arrangements.
