Mary Squire was the daughter of Joseph & Mary (Warner) Squire of Woodbury, Colony of Connecticut.

Mary married, July 1, 1750, Lemuel Bartholomew (1726-1801) by whom she had twelve children: Joseph (b. abt. 1750), Jesse (d. 1836), Jeptha (d. 1813), Lemma (1759-1790), Asenath, Mary (1764-1831), Anna (b. 1767), Squire (1768-1846), Justus (b. 1771), William (1775-1840), Susannah (1777-1848), and Joseph Bartholomew (1782-1861).
