PORT HURON - Bernice I. Proctor, 73, died Monday, July 22, 1991, in Port Huron Hospital after a long illness. She was born Aug. 14, 1917, in Yale.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Carolyn Sumner of Canton; a son, Herbert Proctor of Taylor; a daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Norman Spellich of Gladwin; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren: a brother, Ford Kiteley of Port Huron; a sister, Mrs. Eva Dimon of Port Huron; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Elsworth Cushman of Port Huron and Virginia and Curtis Bohn of Bridgeport; and many nieces and nephews.

Services are 11 a.m. Friday in the Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Rev. James Olah of Wadhams Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Parkview Memorial Cemetery in Livonia.

Visiting is 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
