~Fifteen Persons injured in five accidents~ Burnell L. Kiteley, 58, of Brown City, was critically injured about 7:30 p.m. Saturday when his car skidded out of control at Bryce Road and M-21 in Mussey Township. Deputy Sheriff Michael Parrish said, Kiteley was taken to Port Huron Hospital and later transferred to St. Joseph`s Hospital, Mt. Clemens. Parrish said Kiteley eastbound on Bryce failed to negotiate a curve. As the car skidded out of control it over turned on its side. Brown City- Burnell L. Kiteley, 58, of 4247 Vine St., died Monday in St. Joseph Hospital, Mt. Clemens, after an automobile accident in Capac. He was born Aug. 14, 1917 in Yale. A former Port Huron resident, he lived in Brown City the last six years. Mr. Kiteley served in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1941 to 1947. He retired from Detroit Edison Co., in 1965. He is survived by his wife Mary; a son Philip T. Kiteley; a daughter Mrs. Fredrick Cripps, and a brother Ford L. Kiteley, all of Port Huron; six sisters, Mrs. Bert Bennett, Peck; Mrs. Lloyd Proctor, Romulus, Mi.; Mrs. Curtis Bohn, Bridgeport; and Mrs. Frank Dell, Mrs. Eva Dimon, and Mrs. Ellsworth Cushman, all of Port Huron, and three grandsons. A sister, Mrs. Arthur Hughs, died in July 1975. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Pollock Randall Funeral Home, Port Huron. The Rev. James Jacobs, First United Methodist Church, will officiate. Richard Sumner, Donald Bennett, Allen Dimon, Dennis Freeman and Dale Yeitter will be pallbearers. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
