Eva E. Dimon, 93, of Marysville, passed away Monday, Sept. 2, 2002 in Marwood Manor Nursing and Rehab. She was born to Nelson and Cora Kiteley on March 9, 1909 in Avoca, and had lived most of her life in Port Huron. Her husband Calvin D. Dimon passed away on Aug. 25, 1967. Eva was a member of First United Methodist Church and Mount Vernon Lodge 461, Smith Creek, where she was a past matron of the chapter. She also enjoyed gardening. She is survived by three children, Victor F. (Louise) Dimon of Marysville, Allen L. (Marion) Dimon of Fort Gratiot Township, and Wilma E. (Maynard) Martin of Kimball Township; 12 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; two sisters, Virginia Bohn, of Bridgeport and Betty Cushman of Port Huron; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. today in Smith Family Funeral Home-North, 1525 Hancock St. The Rev. Richard Lobb will officiate. Burial will follow in Lakeside Cemetery.
